We are excited to announce multiple opportunities within our esteemed organization. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team in various capacities.
Summary: Under the guidance of the Assistant Chemist, the Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting sampling, analysis, and inspections within our Health, Safety, Environmental & Laboratory Department located in Kingston, Georgetown.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory analysis and sampling of water, fuels, lubricants, and transformer oils.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with documented procedures.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory housekeeping and safety standards.
Competency Profile:
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of ISO and safety policies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective written and oral communication abilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Five (5) subjects C.C.C/G.C.E. ‘O’ Levels including Chemistry, English Language, and Mathematics (Grades 1- III) or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience.
Salary Scale: Commensurate with GE:4 Grade
Summary: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Solar Technician will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the performance of the solar plant located in Bartica, Essequibo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance activities on the solar plant.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures.
- Generate technical reports and conduct root cause analysis on faults.
Competency Profile:
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of integrated systems and fault-finding techniques.
- Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Technician Certificate from Government/Essequibo Technical Institute.
- Five (5) subjects C.S.E.C including Mathematics, English A, and a technical subject (Grades 1-3).
- Valid driver’s license with four (4) years of experience.
Salary Grade: GE:4
