Guyana is set to host five Caribbean Premier League (CPL) matches featuring the Guyana Amazon Warriors between September 4 and 11, as the Republic Bank CPL on Tuesday unveiled the full fixture list for the 2026 tournament.

The 39-match competition runs from August 7 to September 20, with the Warriors opening their home leg at the National Stadium, Providence, against Jamaica Kingsmen on September 4 at 19:00h. The home fixtures continue with a clash against St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots on September 6 at 10:00h, followed by Antigua and Barbuda Falcons on September 8 at 19:00h and St. Lucia Kings on September 9 at 19:00h.
The highlight of Guyana’s hosting stint will be a mega clash between the 2023 champion Warriors and reigning champions Trinbago Knight Riders on September 11 at 19:00h.
The 2026 edition marks a historic expansion of the tournament, with Jamaica Kingsmen joining as the seventh franchise, alongside Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St. Lucia Kings, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders.
The season also features two landmark firsts — St. Vincent and the Grenadines will host CPL matches for the first time at the scenic Arnos Vale Stadium, while Barbados will stage the CPL finals for the first time, closing out what organisers are billing as the biggest finale in the tournament’s 14-year history.
CPL CEO Pete Russell described the 2026 season as the most ambitious yet. “With an expanded tournament in 2026, we are delighted to be bringing CPL cricket to St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the first time. We are equally excited about hosting finals week in Barbados, where we have ambitious plans to deliver the biggest and most memorable finale in the tournament’s 14-year history,” he said.
